WATT, Donald Paul -- Age 81 of Fenton Township, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Military honors and Inurnment will take place immediately following at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Donald was born June 30, 1934 in Ludington, the son of Frank and Rose (Patazenski) Wojtaszak. He served our country in the US Army and was stationed in Tokyo. He attended Ferris State University and received a Bachelors of Business Administration. He married Barbara Jean Coffey on July 18, 1959 in Big Rapids. Donald worked as a salesperson for IBM at the start of the computer age for 31 years retiring in 1991. He had fond memories of working on the Ludington car ferry's. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his cottage on Cases Island with friends and family. Survived by: his wife of 56 years, Barbara Jean; children, Pam (Kenneth) Edwards of Austin, TX, Ron Watt of Libertyville, IL; grandchildren, Steven Edwards, Sarah Watt, and Michael Watt; sisters, Connie Magnason of Richmond, VA, MaryAnn Talsma of Ludington; brother, Richard Wojtaszak of Ludington as well as many nieces and nephews.
