Donald Valley

VALLEY, Donald James- Age 79, of Swartz Creek, died Friday February 22, 2019. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Donald was born in Flushing on January 17, 1940 the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Ford) Valley. He married Elsie Watkins in Flint on July 22, 1978. Donald proudly served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors Buick Division with 34 years of service. Donald was an avid bowler and bowled on many leagues in the Genesee County area and enjoyed spending time with friends. Surviving are: wife of 40 years Elsie Valley of Swartz Creek; daughter, Lora (John) DeGuise Jr. of Flint; sister, Barbara (Rev. Gerald) Hogeson of Davison; nephew, Charles Valley Jr.; step-sister Cathy; step-brother, Dwayne Bentley of TN; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
