Donald James Thibedeau

THIBEDEAU, Donald James- Age 86, of Swartz Creek, passed away December 27, 2024. Memorial Service 11:00 AM Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Fr. David Harvey officiating. Visitation 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday. Interment service with Military Honors 1:00 PM Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Donald was born May 10, 1938 in Flint, the son of James Francis and Delia Mary (Vallencourt) Thibedeau. He married Karon Delores (Phillips) Fortier in Las Vegas, NV on April 5, 1988. Donald graduated from Flint Central High School. He served in the U.S. Army. Donald was employed as a Millwright with GM for 37 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Donald enjoyed boating, welding and making custom trailers. He also enjoyed archery and especially mowing and caring for his lawn. 

Donald is survived by his wife Karon Thibedeau; daughters, Linda (Karl) Schultz, and Bridget Beebe; stepdaughter, Jill Weishuhn; several grandchildren and great grand children; sister, Janet Decker.
