Donald Perry TERRELL

TERRELL, Donald Perry - Age 86, of Fenton, died Friday, December 2, 2011. Services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:30 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Tony Chick officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to Fisher House. Mr. Terrell was born February 26, 1925 in Tulsa, OK, the son of Theodore and Clara (Bentz) Terrell. He received a Bachelor's Degree the Arts and Sciences from Oklahoma State University. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. Mr. Terrell married Martha Ann Sykes April 26, 1946 in Tulsa, OK and she preceded him in death August 29, 1997. He retired from Toledo Edison as the Public Relations Manager after 34 years of service. He was an active member of Sigma Delta Chi Fraternity Northwestern Ohio Chapter. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Constance Schroeder and husband Jon of Ida and Karen Woodward of Littleton, CO; 3 grandchildren, Charles Schroeder of Monroe, Elizabeth Schroeder of Hartland, and Lucas Woodward of Englewood, CO,; brother, Nelson Terrell of Tulsa, OK; several nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver, Terri Connolly of Sylvania, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Lynn Woodward; and brother, Rudolph Terrell. The family wishes to extend special thanks to all the staff at Posey's Senior Care Home.
