SUTTER, Donald George  Age 88, of Flint, died Saturday, January 28, 2006 at his residence. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek with Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Interment will be held in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a vigil service will be held at 6 PM Monday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Faithway Charitable Endowment Fund. Mr. Sutter was born June 6, 1917 in Flint, the daughter of George and Katherine (Satler) Sutter. He married Doris Vera Hammond on July 27, 1946 at. St. Matthews Church in Flint and she preceded him in death on December 10, 2004. Mr. Sutter was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp serving as a Staff Sergent in World War II. HE owned The Country Butcher on Corunna Rd. in Flint for many years and was self employed as a General Contractor. Mr. Sutter was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are: three children, Linda and husband, Dan McConkey of Royal Oak, Robert and wife, Joyce Sutter of Sterling Heights, Karen and husband Mark Corcoran of CT; 8 grandchildren, Scott and wife, Denise McConkey, Greg McConkey, Andrea, Rachele, and Courtney Sutter, Todd Brian and Katelynn Corcoran; special cousins, Pam and Kent Blaine.
