SPRAGUE, Donald Lavern - age 81, of Rapid City, MI died Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden, MI. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Friday, December 11, 2015 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Donald was born January 29, 1934 in Oxford, the son of Roy and Hazel (Grose) Sprague. He worked at General Motors for 34 years. Donald is survived by seven children, David (Carol) Sprague, Linda (Jerry) Bartz, Kathy Capling, Donnie Sprague, Bobby Sprague, Clare (Tammy) Sprague, and Barb Sprague; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy P. Sprague Jr.; a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; sons, Gary and Paul; sister, Alice Cullison.
