SOMERS, Donald Dean - age 61, died Friday, OCtober 1, 2010. Services will be held 12 PM Friday, October 8, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service Friday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice. Donald was born June 8, 1949 in Miami, FL. He was a 1967 graduate of Flint Southwestern High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a U.S. Marshall. Surviving are: mother, Shirley (Mike) McLanahan; brother, David Somers; two sisters, Cynthia Baker and Claudia Roberts; half sister, Sheryl Mundale; half brother, Allen Frye; many nieces and nephews.
