Donald Parker

PARKER, Donald Edward- Age 69, of Goodrich, died Tuesday, July 11, 2007 at Genesys Hospice Care Center.  Funeral services will be held 2:30 Friday, July 13, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint.  Rev. Keith O'Neal officiating.    Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4-8 PM Thursday and 12:00 PM until time of service Friday.  Those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice Care Center or American Lung Association.  Donald was born September 19, 1937 in Muskegon, the son of Dale A. and Eleanor D. (Dean) Parker.  He married Cori Cornel Williams August 31, 1957 in Flint.  He retired from GM Chevrolet Metal Fab. in 1975 after 22 years of service.  He was a member of U.A.W. Local 659 and was an avid Hunter and Fisherman.  Surviving are: wife, Cori Cornel; 2 children, Tami and husband Jeff Glasco of Goodrich, Rocko and wife Chris Parker of Davison.  7 grandchildren, Candice, Mitchell (Angella), Christina (Jiles), Spencer and Grant and 1 great granddaughter, Madilyn; 2 brothers, Jerry and Robert Parker; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Friends may share an online condolence at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
