Donald Lee Lloyd

Lloyd, Donald Lee - Age 66, of Swartz Creek, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023. No service will be held. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial immediately following in Lakeside Cemetery in Holly. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Swartz Creek American Legion Post #294.

Donald was born July 11, 1957 in Portsmouth, VA, the son of Edward Benson and Archie Dell (Fiveash) Lloyd. He had resided in Swartz Creek for the past two years, coming from Grand Blanc. He was employed by Goodwill Industries, where he had been awarded the employee of the month several times. Donald was proud to be a member of the Swartz Creek American Legion Post #294. He enjoyed sports, especially U of M and Detroit Lions football. He also was an avid movie watcher.

Surviving are: his sisters, Elizabeth Bartholme, Kelly Perry, Kathy Lester, Pamela Wagner, Patty Ellison, Mary Cox and Suzanne Brandon; brothers, David and Bobby Clancy; special friends, Beth Klien, Melville Mick and David Mick; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Chuck and his twin brother, Ronald Lloyd. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff members at Mari Dan Miller Farms and the members of the Swartz Creek American Legion.
