JENSEN, Donald M. -- Age 83, of Flushing, died very peacefully with his family surrounding him at Fostrian Manor on July 5, 2006. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, July 8, 2006 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 S. Ballenger Highway, Flint, Pastors Roger Kilponen and Steven Maske officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 6-9 PM Thursday, 1-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Heartland Hospice, or the charity of their choice. Mr. Jensen was born February 23, 1923 in Flint the son of Paul and Emma (Grunst) Jensen. He was married to Louise Wiebeck on February 23, 1946 in Flint. He retired from Buick in 1980 after working in Security with 31 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran his entire life. Mr. Jensen enjoyed his yard, flowers, and gardening. He was devoted, loving and caring to his family. Surviving are wife of 60 years Louise; two children, Cheryl and husband John Pelc, Gary Jensen, all of Flushing; grandchildren, Michelle and husband Greg Waller and their children Morgan and Derek, Laura and husband Greg Baker and their children Seth and Sydney, all of Flint; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and three brothers. The family extends a special thanks to U of M Neuro Units, Fostrian Manor, and Heartland Hospice.
