Donald Francis Herrick

HERRICK, Donald Francis  Age 72, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, April 26, 2004 at his residence. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, Swartz Creek with Rev. JD Landis officiating. Interment will be held at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Swartz Creek United Methodist Church or McLaren Hospice. Mr. Herrick was born September 28, 1931 in Flint, the son of Herbert Albert and Cora Helena (Francis) Herrick. He married Pearl M. Jones on April 16, 1954 in Flint and she preceded him in death on February 17, 1993. Mr. Herrick retired from Sears Roebuck and Company in 1986 after 35 years of service. He served in the U.S. National Guard for 12 years and has resided in Swartz Creek since 1973. Surviving are: three children, Herbert D. Herrick and wife, Diane E., Steven F. Herrick, Susan E. and husband, David Goff, all of Swartz Creek; two grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren;  sister, Carol Farmer of IL; brother, Willard Herrick of Flint; sister-in-law, Barbara Herrick of Grand Blanc; companion, Shirley Bohnard of Swartz Creek; many nieces and nephews.
