Donald Duane Hayes

HAYES, Donald Duane, age 64, of Flint, died Sunday, September 10, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held 2PM Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint (Just south of Hill Rd.)Visitation will be held 11AM Wednesday until the time of service at the funeral home. Donald was born in Midland on December 26, 1941. He was employed by Genesys Health Park for 23 years until his retirement in 1994, when he then began daily volunteer work at the hospital. He was a loyal patron of Angelo's Restaurant, eating there daily, rain or shine. He loved to watch television, enjoyed all types of movies, and proudly ran in the 2005 Crim Road Race. He had a strong sense of determination, which guided him through life. Surviving are his good friends, Bobby and Candice Glass and their daughters, Alesha and Allison, all of Flint.
