Donald Earl GOCHA, SR

GOCHA, Donald Earl Sr. - Age 88, of Linden, died October 12, 2011. Services will be held 12 Noon Monday, October 17, 2011 at Linden Free Methodist Church, 13274 Linden Rd., Linden. Rev. Jim Thompson will officiate. Private Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Donald was born April 20, 1923 in Flint, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Miller) Gocha. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army, serving in WWII. Mr. Gocha retired from Buick in 1978. He was an avid boater, a private pilot and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He was also an active member of Linden Free Methodist Church and Linden V.F.W. Surviving are: wife, Bettie Jo; children, Trudy Bronson (Ronald), Donald Gocha Jr. (Kathleen), Ward Gocha (Sherri), Clifford Gocha (Lisa), Crystal Hitt, Rhonda Woods (Ben), Paul Banks (Vickie); 26 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; six great great-greandchildren; sister, Geraldine Terryah (Thomas); brother, Kenneth Gocha (Louise); daughter-in-law, Linda Gocha.
