Donny was born February 18, 1948 in Flint the son of Melvin and Marie (George) Erickson. He enjoyed life to its fullest. He worked at Kessel Foods and Dana Corporation. He enjoyed golfing, especially the last four months. Donny served in the United States Army with many childhood friends. He enjoyed camping, riding in the woods on his golf cart, camp fires, and laughter. A few highlights in his life was raising his daughter, Michele, he was so proud to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day, Donny was proud of the women and mother she became. The sparkles in his eyes were his two granddaughters, he was PaPa!; he loved it; he was there at their sports activities cheering them on, dance recitals, gymnastics, softball, basketball, cheerleading, soccer, and volleyball. If you met Donny you had a lifetime friend. He had a heart of gold. He loved life and to laugh, he could and would get you laughing. His presence on earth will be deeply missed. Covid Took one of the best. Donny wanted his life celebrated by his family and friends by all the good times and laughter, especially around the campfire; RIP my best friend and husband until we meet again.
