Donald Davis, Sr.

DAVIS, Donald E., Sr. - Age 73, of Linden, died Monday, March 16, 2015. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton. Pastor Wes Morris officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 3-9 PM and Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Don was born October 8, 1941 in St. Paul, MN, the son of Edward and Pearl (Herseth) Davis. He was a 1960 graduate of Pontiac Northern High School. He married Laurie J. Shoup June 26, 1999 in Las Vegas, NV. He had resided in Linden since 2001 coming from Fenton. Don retired in 1991 from GM BOC in Lake Orion after 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer. Surviving are: wife, Laurie; 5 children, Donald Davis, Jr. of Rose City, Dawn Lyons of Sterling Heights, Dane and wife Tracie Davis of St. John, Daniel Davis of Fenton, and Drew Davis of Linden; 6 grandchildren, Rachael, Dalton, Deanna, Destiny, Oakley, and Truman; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Bussell of Lansing; brothers, Richard Davis of Ray, MN and Robert Davis of International Falls, MN; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Bridget.
