DAVIS, Donald Preston 'Skeeter' - Age 54, of Fenton, died Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, August 11, 2006 at Faith Baptist Church, 4518 Silver Lake Rd., Linden with Pastor Jack McMaster officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home and 10 AM until the time of service Friday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Donald P. Davis Memorial Fund. Don was born July 24, 1952 in Flint, the son of Donald Clifford and Colleen Judith (Sugden) Davis. He married Denise Brody on August 21, 1972 and she preceded him in death. Don as a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Germany and was employed at General Motors as a supervisor. Don loved racecars and golfing. Last year he gave his life to God becoming a Born Again Christian and was a devoted witness to the people of his church. Surviving are: 3 children, Kelly (Michael) Day of Flint Twp; Charlie Davis of Fenton; Kristin Davis of Gaines; mother, Judy Davis of Fenton; brother, Kim Davis of Fenton; sister, Debbie (Steve) Biddle of Flint Twp.
