Donald Cook

COOK, Donald Emil - Age 79, of Flint, died Sunday, January 30, 2022.  A service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 4, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. ( A live stream of the service  will be available on Donald's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Visitation will be held at funeral home Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association.  Donald was born April 22, 1942 in Goodrich, the son of Charles Cook and Ruth Gustafson.  He was a 1960 graduate of Grand Blanc High School.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He married Judith Jean Reno March 9, 1968 in Grand Blanc.  Donald retired from Everett Vending Company.  He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, and traveling.   Surviving are:  his wife of 53 years, Judith; sons, Brian Scott Cook of Fenton and Keith (Heather) Cook of California; grandsons, Alex, Devin, Zachary, Jordan, and Noah; siblings, Glenn (Janet) Cook, Edwin (Debra) Cook, Harry Lyne (Char) Cook, Elton Cook, George (Rae Ellen) Cook, Dale (Donna) Cook, and Russell (Billie Jo) Cook; and many nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Charles "Bud" and Larry Cook; and sisters, Linnea Gonyea and Beverly Copeland.   Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfunralhomes.com.
