Donald Cocke

COCKE, Donald Philip - Age 85, of Gaines, passed away July 23, 2021. Private services will be held with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Donald was born August 9, 1935 in Flint, the son of James Luther and Marjorie Louise (Shinabarger) Cocke. He was a 1953 graduate of Bendle High School. Donald was an Electrician and retired from General Motors in 1995 after 40 years of service. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. He is survived by his son, Donald P. (Judy) Cocke Jr.; daughter, Renee (Jim) Buchanan; grandchildren, Donald P. Cocke III, Michael Buchanan, Bridget Buchanan and Brett Buchanan; great-grandson, Matthew Cocke; significant other, Judy Taylor; sister-in-law, Susan Cocke; many nieces and nephews.
