BURGESS, Donald Eugene - age 62, of Fenton, died Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Regency of Grand Blanc. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project. Don was born October 22, 1954 in Flint, the son of Eugene Curtis and Kathleen Irene (DeBarr) Burgess. He loved living on Lake Ponemah and was loved by all his neighbors and friends. Donald also was a talented woodworker. Surviving are: mother, Kathleen of Fenton; sister, Diana and husband, Ron Lumsden of Grand Blanc; nephew, Brent (Kate) Lumsden of CA; three great-nephews, Branden Lumsden, Kai and Ezra Lunden; many cousins and friends.
