Donald Bowles

BOWLES, Donald R. - Age 73, of Fenton, formerly of Howell, died October 16, 2016. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Rev. Judi McMillan will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to First Presbyterian Church of Howell. Donald was born April 12, 1943 in Ypsilanti, the son of Gerald and Jeanette Bowles. He was married to Joanne Boyd on May 26, 1973. Mr. Bowles retired from Washtenaw County in 1986. He was an avid collector of model cars. Surviving are: his wife, Joanne; brother, Robert and wife Connie Bowles; brother-in-law, Arthur Boyd; sister-in-law, Eloise Boyd; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
