Donald C. ANTHONY

ANTHONY, Donald C. - Age 77, of Fenton, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at his residence. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Pastor James Mascow officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Leukemia Foundation. Mr. Anthony was born October 22, 1933 in Dearborn, the son of Charles and Mabel (Gossett) Anthony. He married Marilyn Gildersleeve November 15, 1952 and she preceded him in death, he married Beverly J. Kay February 29, 1996. He retired in 1994 from Ford Motor Company as a toolmaker after 43 years of service. Mr. Anthony was a member of the U.A.W. Local 36. Surviving are: wife, Beverly J. Kay; 3 children, Stephen Anthony of South Lyon, Paula and husband John Herbert of Grand Blanc and Carrie and husband Curtis Kaye of Fraser; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 2 step daughters, Judy Hrlic of Lyon Township and Nancy and husband Pete Behrend of Holly; 4 step grandchildren; 3 brothers, Phillip and wife Rose Anthony of Florida, Melvin Anthony of Arizona and Mickey and wife Joyce Anthony of Georgia; many nieces and nephews.
