Dona H. Gilbert

GILBERT, Dona H. - Age 64, of Gaines, died May 16, 2005 at Genesys Health Park. Our courageous little fighter gave it her all. Services will be held 1 PM Thursday, May 19, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of the service Thursday. Dona was born September 22, 1940 in Flint the daughter of Donald and Minnie (Euler) McKeon and was raised on the family farm in Linden. She attended and graduated from Linden High School. On July 4, 1959 Dona married Roger B. Gilbert in Gaines. They had two daughters who Dona instilled with a love of pets and animals. Dona was the happiest in her garden or the barn. She is survived by: husband Roger; two daughters, Sandra and Cindy; son-in-law, Mark Webster; two grandchildren, Mark Jr. and Katelyn, all of Gaines. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John; sisters, Betty and Mary; and brother-in-law, Chuck Murphy.
