Dolores Marie TOLENE

TOLENE, Dolores Marie - age 83, of Linden, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, February 6, 2009 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Fr. Bosco Padamattummal celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Thursday evening. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. John Catholic Church. Mrs. Tolene was born July 15, 1925 in Glenridge, IL, the daughter of Amos and Mary (Poli) Turchi. She married Merrill Keith Tolene on October 22, 1946. Mrs. Tolene was an Registered Nurse working for General Motors for 26 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus auxiliary and the Council of Catholic Women. Surviving are: husband, Merrill of Linden; four children, Barry K. (Sybil) Tolene of AL, Dale A. Tolene of PA, Marilyn K. (Edward) Crist of Flint, Thomas N.
