MURRAY, Dolores E. - Age 95, of Fenton, died Monday, December 27, 2021. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, January 7, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide Street, Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Her Funeral Mass will be live streamed and may be viewed by clicking the tab at the bottom of her obituary page here. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Thursday from 5-8 PM and at church Friday from 10 AM until the time of the Mass.  A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Dolores’s name. Dolores was born September 29,1926 in New Kensington, PA, the daughter of William and Helen (Kaluzny) Ucinski. She married Charles M. Murray on October 6, 1951 in Detroit and they were married for 65 years. Dolores was a multi-talented individual playing the Snare Drums in Marching Band, Piano, and Violin. As an adult she sang soprano in the St. Robert Bellarmine  Choir and the Plymouth Community Choral, along with designing and building their fourth of July float. Dolores was also an amazing artist - she made ceramics and posters announcing the latest happenings at church, decorated for showers and weddings, and made all the scenery used in dance productions for Miss Harriet’s Dance Studio throughout the many years her children danced. Dolores was devoted to her family and friends, and always saw the best in each. She was known for her happy go lucky attitude and warm smile. Dolores was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and devoted to the Blessed Mother of Jesus. Surviving are her three children:  Gail (Christian) Hubert, Gregory Murray, and Gwen (Murray) Kowalski; 4 grandchildren, Tiffany Johnson, Jamie Hubert, Brynn Kowalski, and Morgan Hubert. She is also survived by multiple generations of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles, her parents: William & Helen (Kaluzny) Ucinski, her infant daughter: Mary “Grace” Murray, and brothers William (Bill) Ucinski and Leonard Ucinski.
