GEORGE, Dolores Mary - age, 91, formerly of Walled Lake, died December 30, 2020. A private funeral service will be held 12 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 and will be live-streamed from her tribute page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Visitation will be held from 11 AM - 12 PM Tuesday. Mrs. George was born May 12, 1929 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Regina and Bernard Bickes. She lived in Walled Lake area for many years. Dolores married Floyd James and he preceded her in death. She then married Robert George and he also preceded her in death. Dolores was of the Catholic faith and attended Cooley High School in Detroit. She was a food server at the Village Women's Club in Oakland County and had worked for several country clubs in the area. Surviving are: five children, Irene Brown (Keith), David James, John James (Patty), Lloyd James (Sheila), and Cindy James (Kevin); 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Bickes. She was also preceded in death by: her son, Ronald James; and two brothers, Bernard and Jerry Bickes. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
