Dolores C. Dillon

DILLON,  Dolores C. (Shea), age 79 a resident of Grand Blanc the past 9 years, died Thursday, August 10, 2006 at Genesys Health Park.  Mrs. Dillon was born in Detroit on February 22, 1927 the daughter of James B. and Anna (Haddas) Shea.  She and John (Jack) Dillon were married in Detroit on December 29, 1951.  Mrs. Dillon was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Fr. Solanus Guild. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and is survived by her husband, John (Jack) her 5 children; Debra (John) Larson, Karen (Andy) Wolfe, Nancy Dillon, Keith (Patricia)Dillon and Kevin (Martina) Dillon.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and a twin sister, Dorothy (Tom) Cencer.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters; Eileen Glide and Rosemary McGinnis. A Funeral Mass will be prayed 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 14, 2006 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Blanc with Rev. James Swiat officiating. Private burial will take place at Holy Sephulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield.  A Vigil service will be prayed 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Grand Blanc Twp. where friends may visit from 2:00 to 9:00 P.M. Sunday. Monday, Mrs. Dillon will be taken to the church at 9:00 A.M. Memorials in her name may be offered to the Fr. Solanus Casey Center, 1820 Mt. Elliott St., Detroit, MI  48207-3485.
