ACEVEDO, Dolores Juanita (Enciso) Â died Sunday, January 18, 2004 at her home in Mt. Morris, MI. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, January 22, 2004 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 Coldwater Rd., Flint with Fr. Tim Nelson celebrant. Cremation will take place following the service and her cremated remains will be buried at Calvary Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 11 AM Â 2 PM and 4-9 PM on Wednesday. A rosary, prayers, and remarks will be given in her honor at 7 PM Wednesday evening at the church. Visitation will also be held from 9 AM until the time of service at the church on Thursday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Our Lady of Guadalupe Building Fund. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Conception Enciso; two brothers, Jose Enciso and Jesse Enciso; two sisters, Millie Serrato, Irene Castello; and her son, Michael Theodore Asevedo. Dolores was born in Saginaw, MI in 1936, age 67, along with six brothers, Diego (Suzy), Nick (Bea), Bob (Bonnie), Rudy (Narcie) and two sisters. Her sisters-in-law, Jeanie Enciso, Dolores Enciso; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Dolores attended Saginaw St. Joseph High School where she met her husband, Henry Acevedo, who survives her. She is also survived by: five children and 13 grandchildren, son, Daniel and wife, Kerrie and grandson, Dan Davis from Saginaw, grandson Chazz Acevedo, granddaughter, Shyanne Acevedo of Clio; son, Dennis and wife, Loretta from Houston, TX and grandson, Trevor; daughter, Diana and husband, Dar Childs and granddaughter, Shannon Asevedo (Sam Moreno), grandchildren, Margie and Dillon Childs from Ohio; late son, Michael Asevedo and grandchildren, Jolene and Michael Theodore Asevedo of the Detroit area; daughter, Renee and husband, Tom Myers from Stockton, CA and granddaughters, Nicole (Lerroy) Duarte, Jennifer, Samantha, and Skylynn Myers. Also surviving are: six great-grandchildren, Elin, Miguel Moreno, Dustin Jiles Murphy, Franklin Wadley, Damien Wadley and Brianna Duarte. Dolores and Henry moved to Mt. Morris, MI in 1961 where they currently reside. Dolores will always be remembered for her love of all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and husband, Henry of 48 years who loves her dearly and will always be missing her. Morris. They will never be forgotten. Dolores fought a great fight against Pulmonary Fibrosis since 1985, but now she is in the Lords house along with our loved ones who have left us. She was and is the cornerstone and foundation of our family, her presence will be felt wherever we are.
