Diane D. Benedict

BENEDICT,  Diane D., age 46 of Flint, died at Hurley Medical Center on Tuesday, January 23, 2007.  She was born in Flint on September 21, 1960 the daughter of Frank and Deloris (Long) Benedict.  Diane had been a caregiver in home health care.  She was a loving, caring person and is survived by her four children:   Jeremy (Annie), Jodi, Ronda and RhaShanda.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, father, Frank and wife Ellie Benedict; a sister, Joni McArthur; 3 brothers, Don, John and Frank Benedict, and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 27, 2007 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp.  Rev. John Wagonschutz will officiate.  Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 8 P.M. and on Saturday from 12 noon to service time.  Memorial gifts to honor her will be accepted by the family. She was preceded in death by her significant other, Maurice Chestnut; her mother, and a granddaughter, Morgan.
