Diane Lucille Barshney

Diane Lucille Barshney, age 69, of Burton, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 16, 2024 at Unity Christian Church 3500 W. Hill Road, Flint, MI 48507 with Reverend Brenda Ethridge presiding. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Diane was born on August 2, 1955 in Flint the daughter of the late Doran and Dorothy (Clearwaters) Barshney. She graduated from Grand Blanc High School, class of 1974. Diane worked for many years with GM working in production at V-8 Engine and Delphi until her retirement from SPO in Lansing. She was a member of a scrap booking club. She enjoyed scrap booking, painting, making cards and ceramics. Diane was a member of the Unity Christian Church. In addition, she loved to travel, walking her dog and visiting light houses. 

She is survived by her brother, Doran (Diana) Barshney; sister, Ann Barshney; nieces and nephews, Cortney Arnold, Brandon Pink, Anthony Barshney, Laura Doherty, Morgan Lindberg and Tristan Lindberg; great-nieces and nephew, Aminah Rizvi, Madeline Cornell, Zoey Arnold, Tatum Arnold, and Muhammad Rizvi; several cousins, friends, and her 4-year-old toy poodle, Daisy.
