Diana Kay Johnson

Diana Kay Johnson, age 80, of Swartz Creek, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. A memorial service will take place 6:00 PM, Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Flushing Community Church of the Nazarene, 9500 W. Pierson Road, Flushing with Pastor Terry Bate presiding. A dinner will take place following the service.The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until the time of service Thursday. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 11, 2024 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Diana was born on July 15, 1944 in Port Huron, Michigan the daughter of Christie and Gladys (Ingram) Valentine. Sadly they preceded her in death at a young age. She was cared for and taken in by her guardians, William and Margarite Morris. Diana graduated from Port Huron High School, class of 1962. She and David Johnson were united in marriage on June 6, 1964 in Port Huron. Diana worked as the district manager for H&R Block until her retirement. She was an active member of the Flushing Community Church of the Nazarene. She loved teaching about taxes, child evangelism and teaching Sunday school. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and sewing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, David; son, Trevor (Cassandra) Johnson; grandchildren, Alex Beals, Deanna Johnson, Nicholas Beals and Kayla Johnson.
