Deyo Dean SERRELS, Sr.

SERRELS, Deyo Dean Sr.- Age 75, died Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, August 10, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, with Chaplain Hank Messing officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service. Mr. Serrels was born November 23, 1933 in Lansing, the son of Roscoe Douglas and Neva Marie (Shoen) Serrels. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He retired from General Motors. Mr. Serrels is survived by: 4 sons, Deyo, Jr. "Dino", David, Dana and Sean; 2 daughters, Dawn Filus and Tami Amaya; 5 grandsons, 3 granddaughters and 1 great-granddaughter on the way; brother, Doug Serrels; 2 sisters, Serene Moore and Sherrel Curtis and their spouses; several nieces, nephews and lots of family and friends who were very dear to him.
