Derrick Allen Long

LONG, Derrick Allen, age 47 of Flint, passed away on September 7, 2023.  A Celebration of Derrick's Life will be held at 3:30 PM Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the Sharp Funeral Home - Miller Road Chapel located at 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Michigan.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 PM Thursday until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Derrick to the family to assist with funeral expenses.

Derrick was born on August 11, 1976 in Flint, Michigan to Kenneth long and Gail Parcher. He enjoyed time with his grand kids.

He is survived by his children, Courtney Long; Timothy Long; David Long; and Arnold Gross. Grandchildren, Kelsey; Jace; Brett; Eli; and Mikey   Father, Kenneth (Linda) Long.  Stepfather, Timothy Parcher.  Grandmother; Dorothy Long.  Sisters; Jamie Heise and Amber (Jeremiah) Durst.  Brother, Steven (Pamela) Long.  Mr. Long was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Parcher.
