Derek Snyder

SNYDER, Derek E. - age 54, of Fenton, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Hurley Medical Center. Services will be held 3 PM Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Josh Gates officiating. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Friday and 1-3 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. Derek was born August 2, 1961 in Flint, the son of Marvin H. and Carolyn (Heston) Snyder. He was a 1980 graduate of Lake Fenton High School and enjoyed growing up on Lake Fenton. Derek worked in Sales and Programming for Michigan Cash Register for many years. He had a great sense of humor and was a loving father. Surviving are: two sons, Kross Park and Shane Snyder; Shane's mother and special friend, Stephanie Callahan of Fenton; parents, Marvin and Carolyn Snyder of Fenton; brother, Dennis Snyder of Adrian; two sisters, Kristine Snyder of Flint and Lisa Snyder of Fenton; niece, Olivia Snyder of Fenton; former wife, Ann Miller; many other relatives in Iowa and close friends.
