Derald Joseph DeVito

DeVITO, Derald Joseph  Age 66, of Holly, died Thursday, January 15, 2004 at The Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton; Fr. David Harvey celebrant. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Derald Joseph DeVito Memorial Fund for medical research. Derald was born May 4, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Samuel Joseph and Alice Jeanette (Hanna) DeVito. Mr. DeVito retired from Michigan Bell with 36 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Mr. DeVito was a Boy Scout Leader, as well as, a Little League Coach in Garden City and Fenton. An avid sportsman, he loved animals and spending time outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; their two sons, Daniel and Todd; Daniels fiancâ?se, Kristin Bossick; two brothers, Gary DeVito and wife Judy, Larry DeVito and wife Donna; sister-in-law, Bonnie Blank and husband Lou; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
