Dennis Wortman

WORTMAN, Dennis D.- age 77, of Fenton, passed away, April 2, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Fr. David Harvey officiating. The service will be live streamed and may be viewed at the bottom of the page by clicking to access the video. Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of service Tuesday. Interment in Lakeside Memorial Cemetery, Holly. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Flint Old News Boys.

Dennis was born July 21, 1943 in Lake Elsinore, CA, the son of Donald and Virginia (Beebe) Wortman. He married Susan E. McClellan in Fenton on December 26, 1964. Dennis was employed as a Journeyman Electrician and was a member of IBEW and The UAW. He was employed by GM for 22 years and retired in 2003. Dennis was a member of the Fenton Moose Lodge. He was an avid golfer and played in many leagues at Fenton Farms Golf Club. He was a sports enthusiast who also enjoyed boating and water sports.

Dennis is survived by: his daughters; Kim (Steve) Pitman and Jeni Papineau; grandchildren, Mitchell, Myranda, Jacob, and Joslyn; great grandchildren, Zoe and Blake; brother Steve (Stephanie) Wortman; and several nieces and nephews.
