Dennis A. Savage, Sr.

SAVAGE, Dennis A., Sr. - Age 63, of Flint, died Monday, February 12, 2007 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Funeral services will be held 3PM Wednesday, February 14, at the Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. with Rev. Richard Flanders officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12Noon until the time of service Wednesday. Mr. Savage was born October 7, 1943 in Flint the son of Anthony and Molly (Staley) Savage and had been a resident of the Flint area all of his life. He married Brenda Rogers May 25, 1962 in Mt. Morris. He was employed by General Motors Flint Metal Center for over 39 years, retiring in 2005. Mr. Savage was a member of Genesys/Hurley Cancer Institute Support Group and the Flint Rock and Gem Club. Surviving are his wife, Brenda Savage of Flint; 4 children, Sandra and husband Gene Stroup of Vassar, Dennis Jr. and wife Leslie Savage, Kathleen and husband Mike Pederson, Nicholas and wife Jennifer Savage, all of Flint; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Russell Savage of Flint, and Robert Savage of Otisville; brother-in-law, Max Springer of Otisville.
