Dennis Pelky

PELKY, Dennis William - age 67, of Flint, died October 29, 2021. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Friday, November 5, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday and 12-1 PM Friday at the funeral home. Dennis was born June 29, 1954 in Flint, the son of Lawrence and Alma (Esch) Pelky. He married Sharon Sweeney on August 29, 1981. Dennis enjoyed drag racing and restoring classic cars. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Dennis retired from Sara Lee Corporation as a Fleet Mechanic. Surviving are: wife, Sharon; two daughters, Pamela (Wayne) Willhelm of Swartz Creek; Crystal (Darick) Ricketts of Otisville; four grandchildren, Kenden and Grant Willhelm and Darick, Jr. and Addison Ricketts; four siblings, Dale (Carol) Pelky of Swartz Creek, Charlene (Rod) Stephen of Grayling, Mike (Diane) Pelky of Durand, and Tim (Carla) Pelky of Swartz Creek; sister-in-law, Geri DeBolt. many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
