Dennis Lockwood

LOCKWOOD, Dennis Keith - Age 68, of Hartland, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Monday, January 21 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Terry Prisk officiating. Visitation will be 1-5 PM Sunday; and 10-11 AM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to Gift of Life of Michigan. Dennis was born December 9. 1950 in Pontiac, the son of Galen and Elinor (Rogers) Lockwood. He was a 1969 graduate of Hartland High School. Dennis was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He married Kristine Kirshman on October 15, 1971. Dennis was ridiculously devoted to his kids and grandkids, he attended every one of their games and even many practices and was "always a coach". He enjoyed golfing and loved living the country life. Dennis was a follower of Jesus and comforted with the promise of heaven, especially in his last months. Surviving are his beloved wife of 47 years, Kristine; 2 children, Chad (Carlie) Lockwood of Hartland, Leslie (Steve) Brown of Hartland; 7 grandchildren, Brady, Trevor, Bo, Lexie, Drew, Claire, Dy'Mond; siblings, Ken (Margaret) Lockwood, Carole (Jim) Clarke, Gail (Chris) Cone, Linda (Rick) Dewar, Duane (Lisa) Lockwood, Kelley (Joe) Buko; many nieces and nephews; and golf buddies.
