HAMILTON, Dennis Earl  Age 53, of Lake Ann, MI, died Monday, August 9, 2004 at Munson Hospital, Traverse City. Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 14, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (just south of Hill Rd.), Flint with Randy Brandon officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be from 4-9 PM Thursday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association. Mr. Hamilton was born September 26, 1951 in Flint, the son of Frank and Mary (Brandon) Hamilton. He married Brenda Putman on February 27, 1971. Mr. Hamilton was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and the Air National Guard Reserve. He retired as a foreman from Genesee County Road Commission. Mr. Hamilton loved the outdoors, boating, fishing, and a variety of music. He enjoyed helping his family, friends and neighbors and was extremely generous with his time or anything he could offer. Mr. Hamilton was a people person who never met a stranger. Surviving are: wife, Brenda; son, Dustin; four sisters, Beverly (Al) Herrin of FL, Shelia (Mike) Paquin of ID, Gail (Viv) Virgo of FL, Debe (Perry) McCord of Flushing; brother, Jeff Hamilton of Flint; parents-in-law, Ralph and Lillian Putman; sisters-in-law, Sandy Cleomaude of Swartz Creek, Kathy (Brad) Williams of Flushing, Connie (John) Holmes of Everett, Rebecca Putman of NC; many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.
