FLYNN, Dennis A. -- Age 56 of Flint died November 3, 2015. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30AM, Monday, November 9, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3139 Hogarth Ave, Flint. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7PM on Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, and from 10:30AM until the time of service at the church. A scripture service will take place at 6PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Quality Living Systems. Dennis was born June 24, 1959 in Flint, the son of Clare and Joan (Kosack) Flynn. Dennis worked at McDonalds and was very active in Special Olympics as well as handicap bowling and the scouts. Survived by: mother, Joan Flynn of TX, sisters; Sue (Frank) Laux, Mary Flynn, brothers; Robert (LeAnn Flynn, Fr. James Flynn, aunts; Barbara (James) Brophy, Helen Keeler, Irene Wills, 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Clare Flynn.
