CALVIN, Dennis Bruce - Age 87, of Grand Blanc, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024. A celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.

Dennis was born August 10, 1936 in Wyandotte, the son of Donald Francis and Mary Alice (Clark) Calvin. He was a 1954 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte. He married Kathryn Ruth Peterson September 15, 1956. Dennis worked for Koerts Glass and Paint; and then in 1994 started Calvin and Company in Flint. He was a member and past president of the Flint Optimist Club. He enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling, spending time at his cottage on Starvation Lake in Mancelona and his winter home in Naples. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are: his wife of 67 years, Kathryn; children, Cynthia Calvin of Flint, Denise (Michael) Vrabel of Naples, Kathleen (Clifford) Rhodes of Grand Blanc, Paula Calvin of Grand Blanc and Daniel (Bonnie) Calvin of Fenton; grandchildren, Megan (Zac) Maodous, Patrick (Jade) Vrabel, Karli (Luke) Ford, Abigail Rhodes, Emma Rhodes and Mollie Rhodes; great grandchildren, Milena, Zoey, Adalee, Ollie, Maximus and Bodie; sister-in-law, MaryLynne (Don) Sorenson of Burton; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
