Dennis Burr

BURR, Dennis - Age 73, of Flint, passed away Sunday April 17, 2016 from complications of cancer. A gathering of family and friends will be held 11 AM Monday April 25 at Court Street United Methodist Church, 225 Court Street, Flint. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Dennis was born December 28, 1942. He was well known and well loved by many friends in downtown Flint. He knew everyone and everyone knew Dennis. He loved music and had worked as a disc jockey. He could name any song and the artist after hearing only the first few beats. He was always up to date on the current news. He was a sweet, friendly, and gentle person. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Carol and Chris Balcomb; nieces, Rose and Bob Guynn, Sarah and Dean Perigo; nephews, Mark Burr and Brent Burr; grand nieces and nephews, Victoria, Brittany, Brianna, Jordan, Hannah, Christopher, and David; "adopted Pops and Mom" Larry Stecco and Susan DeCourval.
