Dennie Rae Jones

JONES, Dennie Rae - Age 55, of Flint/Grand Blanc, died January 16, 2007 in Oakland County. A memorial service will be held 4 PM Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Chaplain Ray Smith officiating. Military Honors under the auspices of Fenton VFW Curtis Wolverton Post will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until the time of service. Dennie was born June 20, 1951 in Flint the son of Samuel and Virginia Jones nad had been a resident of the Flint/Grand Blanc area most of his life. He was a 1969 graduate of Grand Blanc High School and a Veteran of the US Army. Dennie retired from General Motors in 2006. He is survivied by his uncle, Jim Jones of Fenton; cousins, Merle and Charles Gentry of Swartz Creek and several other cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Jones; grandparents, Lillian Prince and Thornwell Jones; aunt and uncle, Estelle and Jake Staley.
