Denise Nannette RUMSEY

RUMSEY, Denise Nannette, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the age of 43, at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich of cancer. She was born on March 29, 1966 in Flint. Mother, JoAnn M. Huffman of Swartz Creek and late step-father Loren (Frank) Huffman. Leaving to cherish her memory are her son, Gib Shampine of Flint, and daughter, Brandy Rumsey of Swartz Creek; her little granddaughter, Andra Lee, 22 months, (daughter of Gib Shampine and Tasha Lee); sister, Christine Foster of Onaway; step-sister, Sue Huffman of Clio; uncle, Raymond Bausack of California; three aunts, Dottie (Wes) Hunt of Mt. Morris, Katherine Bowen of Stanwood, and Martha Valley of Flint; dear friend, Gib Shampine Sr. (father of little Gib Shampine) several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends left to cherish her memory.
