JOHNSON, Denise J. - Age 91, of Davison, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Friday, November 11, 2022 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church 2245 E. Baldwin Rd., Grand Blanc. Entombment at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation 11 AM until the time of service Friday at Church. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint.

Denise was born January 2, 1931 in Pyrgos Greece, the daughter of Konstantinos and Katerina (Housakis) Giannelis.

Denise is survived by: her children, Nikolas (Anna) Anagnostopoulos of Grand Blanc, Costas (Nancy) Anagnostopoulos of Flint, and Athena Felhandler of Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren, Jimmy (Rhonda) Anagnostopoulos of Fenton, Billy (Evelyn) Anagnostopoulos of Chicago, Alexis (Matt) Beam of Atlanta and Ari Felhandler of Chicago; four great grandchildren, Zoe, Nikolas, Katheryn, and Nina; several nieces and nephews in Greece and Australia.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings in Greece and two siblings in Australia; and her husband of 63 years, James A. Johnson who passed away June 18, 2018. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
