Denise Marie Ankofski

ANKOFSKI, Denise Marie - Age 59. From Grand Blanc, Michigan. Denise went to be with the Lord on December 29th, 2024. She spent her early years in Waterford, graduating from Kettering High with honors. She married and had her only child, Alex McComber, whom she adored. With the help of Focus Hope, she was able to fulfill her dream of getting an engineering degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. She became a spokesperson for Focus Hope after successfully implementing her idea of splitting operations on CNC machines to make brake shoes 80% more efficiently! She spent most of her working life as a Die Engineer and Commodity Analyst at General Motors where she had such a positive impact on so many people. She generously helped family and friends get affordable pricing on many new vehicles. Denise also had a love for dogs owning several rescues throughout her life and spent much of her spare time volunteering at animal shelters. She mostly enjoyed visiting with her five beautiful grandchildren. Denise leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, learning and kindness. She is survived by her father Tom, brother Greg, son Alex McComber, daughter-in-law Karlie Inman and their children: Lily, Liam, Charlotte, Selene and Morrigan.
