CLARY Delvis Dale -- Age 86, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday July 17, 2016. Committal will be held 10:30 AM Friday, July 22, 2016 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. The family will receive friends from 8:30 AM - 10 AM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Delvis was born March 6, 1930 in Bloomfield Missouri the son of Cecil and Gladys Bessie (Palmer) Clary. He married Barbara Joyce Buttone in Flint on June 30, 1956. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines serving in the Korean War. He was employed at GM as a Tool & Die Maker retiring in 1994. He enjoyed water skiing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Clary was a member of Flushing Road Runners Square Dance Club and the Round Dancers. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Joyce Clary of Swartz Creek; 2 children, Lisa (Whit) Leverett of Texas, Kevin (Kelly) Clary of Flushing; grandchildren, Eric (Jenifer) Sonntag, Tyler Sonntag, Heather (Chris) Bullion, Kayla Clary, Jackie (Zach) Wasson and Jason Leverett; brother, Curtis (Jean) Clary of Royal Oak; sister, Marilyn Lippert of CA; sister-in-law, Dorance (Howard) Bethke of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of McLaren Hospice and McLaren - Flint 11th and 12th floors for their loving care.
