Delores Combs

COMBS, Delores Irene (Trebtoske)- age 78, of Swartz Creek, passed away while on vacation in Georgia. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Monday, November 26, 2007 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek with Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Gaines. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 5-8PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with a Rosary being prayed at 7:45PM. The family will also be at the funeral home 10-10:30AM Monday before processing to church for Mass.  Delores Siminski was born on March 13, 1929 in Flint. She graduated from Durand High School in 1947. Delores married Robert P. Trebtoske in Gaines on August 13, 1949. They had 5 children. Robert preceded her in death February 20, 1979. She married Wesley (Frank) Combs in Swartz Creek on February 6, 1988. Delores was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek and the Durand Eagles. Surviving are her husband, Wesley; 5 children, Timothy (Judy) Trebtoske of Durand, Linda (Robert) Jones of Georgia, Robert (Michelle) Trebtoske, Carol (Chris) Erway, and Michael (Lisa)Trebtoske all of Swartz Creek; 10 Grandchildren, Ashley and Jacob Erway, Jillian, Nicholas, Jonathon, Jared and Justin Trebtoske, Shelly Brugg, Timothy Roberts and Jamie Alchin; 6 great-grandchildren. Delores is also survived by brother, Thomas Siminski and several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert; a brother and a sister. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Fund or her Grandchildren's Educational Fund.
