Delores Jean CHENOWETH

CHENOWETH, Delores Jean -- age 90, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Flint, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Services will be 11 AM Thursday, July 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Dr. David Bowser officiating, with burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 AM until the time of service on Thursday, July 28. Contributions may be made to Hospice Family Care Foundation, 1550 S. Alma School Road, Suite 280, Mesa, AZ 85210. Mrs. Chenoweth was born February 19, 1921 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer and Virginia (Strader) Winget. She married Rev. Thurman Ward Chenoweth in Columbus on July 28, 1940. She was a member of the West Flint Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her son, Norman (Becky) Chenoweth of Mesa, AZ; daughter-in-law, Arlene Chenoweth of Fenton, MI; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thurman; son, Robert in 1991; sisters, Ruth and Ruby; and brother, Edward Winget.
