Della M. Ivey

IVEY, Della M., age 95 of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Swartz Creek, died Monday, March 20, 2006 in Mesa.  She was born in Flint on May 7, 1910 the daughter of Curran and Martha (Waterfall) Elms.  She and Clayton S.  Ivey were united in marriage on July 25, 1941 and he preceded her in death on November 15, 1989.  Mrs. Ivey was a former member of the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church and a past member of the Order of Eastern Star.  Surviving are two sons:  James C. Ivey and wife Toni of Lainsburg, Michigan and Donald K. Ivey and wife Esther of Gilbert, Arizona.  Also surviving are four grandchildren; Gretchen J. Ivey, James A. Ivey, Felina M. Ivey and Dawn M. Ivey.  A service of remembrance will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Rd. Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek, Rev. Grant Wessel  will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of service.
